Katelyn began honing her craft over 30 years ago, drawing horses and princesses at the kitchen table. She resides in a cavernous old house with her husband, Jon, three children, and too many pets. When she is not painting for others in her home studio or on a wall somewhere, she is inspired by the beauty of her small world and memory.
Katelyn’s horse paintings have been exhibited at galleries and public spaces across the state of Kentucky. Her portrait comissions and wedding paintings reside in private collections all over the country. She currently serves as the President of the Boyd’s Station Artists Guild.
After years of self guided study in a vast array of art forms, she now regularly provides collectors with dreamy illustrations of their loved ones and treasured moments. From live renditions of your wedding, painted copies of beloved family photos, to murals and original pieces inspired by the natural world and imagination, she strives to portray the essence of the emotion in each painting.
