These paintings are completed in my home studio from a photo provided by you. We will confer about any specific changes you would like for the piece and I will add you to my list. I will contact you again when i begin.

Live Painting

I have spent a decade experimenting with acrylic paint to give the appearance of an oil painting in a fraction of the time. This method is perfect for live event painting because in most packages the clients will leave with a completed painting at the end of the event!

Rather than a direct painting approach used by most acrylic painters, my methods mimic classical oil painters. Layers that would take days to dry are done in minutes. The fast progression of these paintings never fails to stun onlookers.

If your date is available and a package has been chosen I will send a contract. After signing and a 50% deposit paid, your date is confirmed!

We will decide prior to the event which moment you’d most like to capture and other requests. I will arrive to set up a few hours prior and begin preliminary sketches and background work.

All packages include 5 hours on site at your event. The painting will already be in progress as your guests arrive! I engage those that approach throughout the night in pleasant humorous conversation while I work.

If the piece is not complete at the conclusion of the event, I will return to my studio and finish any necessary detail. Delivery or shipping will be arranged within 1-2 weeks.

Travel

I absolutely love to travel. I service the north central Kentucky area with no additional travel fees (Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Morehead areas). Fees for events outside these areas will be calculated on a case by case basis.

Packages

1. Jack and Diane

16x20 - $700

Depicts the wedding couple at first kiss or agreed upon scene.

2. How Sweet It Is

18x24 - $950

Depicts the wedding couple in a broader scene. May include up to 4 guests.

3. Wonderful Tonight

24x30 - $1,200

Includes a sweeping view of your venue or chosen scene, with up to 8 guests.

4. Guest Sketches

These 5x7 watercolor portrait sketches are becoming the go to favor for guests! I can provide this service alone or in addition to the other packages with the help of my network of other talented artists.

We will confer ahead of time and determine how many guests you would like to go home with a darling keepsake of your wedding, and we will sketch each couple or family live during your cocktail hour and reception. They will pick up their portrait when they depart.

5x7 - $20 per sketch

minimum 25 sketches, maximum 50 sketches per event

50% deposit required on all transactions at signing of contract.

All packages are subject to 6% Kentucky sales tax.
